 Mass Communications Course

In JAMB, students should score 200 above even if it is that the normal cut of point for universities as set by JAMB varies in the different tertiary school institutions available in the nation. Universities may require 160, 180 and above, Polytechnics; 120, 180 and above, College of Education; 100-180 and above in order to be favoured. It should also be noted that some information on students' documents are assessed using the ethics of any school's faculty. Courses Under Faculty Of Law And Subjects Required For UTME Examination In Nigeria

Civil Law

Civil law deals with disputes and relationship problems among members of any community. It's said as seen above to contrast with Common Law. Apart from Common Law, it also contrasts with military law and Ecclesiastical Law.

Common Law

This is a course that deals with judge-made laws; laws in which the Judges, Courts, etc develop through and only their decisions. The SSCE WAEC OR NECO and UTME JAMB subjects required are same as in Civil Law above.

Islamic/sharia Law, Private And Islamic Law, And Common & Islamic Law

Law here is specifically for the people of the islamic religion. The three mentioned law courses above are all concerned with what wikipedia has as information about. According to Wikipedia, "Islamic law , or redundantly Sharia law , is a religious law forming part of the Islamic tradition. It is derived from the religious precepts of Islam, particularly the Quran and the hadith. For anyone to study this in the Nigerian tertiary school institutions, you'll require same subjects as in Civil and Common Law in both SSCE and UTME exams result, but is a must to take Islamic Studies where you have options with it.

In Nigerian tertiary school institutions, to study any of the of the above mentioned courses as your desired course, you will require at least C's if not A's in your registered subjects in

JAMB is said to have 180 as cut off marks, but 200 scores and above in JAMB, and B's or A's in WAEC will get such students with such results favoured during assessment by the school faculty.
